Modern Plastics Processing with durable Plastic Materials

Another FiberOptic core area of expertise is the manufacture of single components and modules from plastic. We use only selected raw materials for our production of plastic components.

Making use of our many years of experience and the right tools, we develop solutions in plastic for our customers. Only high quality and robust base materials are used in our manufacturing processes.

PMMA

Polymethyl methacrylate (acrylic glass, or PMMA) is a transparent thermoplastic, used in many day-to-day applications in the automotive, semiconductor and avionics sectors to name a few. Its robustness and transparency, mean that PMMA is frequently used as a substitute for glass, e.g. for windows and covers.

PET

PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is not only used for plastic bottles, but also for many industrial components.

PVC

The abbreviation PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride, a non-crystalline thermoplastic.  Its varied forms and properties make PVC a great all-round plastic for FiberOptic production.

PEEK

Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) is a thermoplastic resistant to temperatures up to about 280°C. PEEK is frequently used in the automotive, aviation and aerospace, high voltage, semiconductor, chemical and medical technology sectors for parts for 3D printers and much more. We can manufacture your parts from PEEK with the highest level of precision, even with complex structures.
